Legal Assistance for Social Security Recipients

Although the Minnesota Work Incentives Connection can help you resolve many different issues with your benefits providers, there may be times when you need to consult an attorney. The Minnesota Disability Law Center provides legal assistance to people with disabilities. If they cannot assist you directly, they may refer you to an attorney who can.

The Minnesota Disability Law Center has a special program, called:  Protection and Advocacy for Beneficiaries of Social Security (PABSS).  This program provides advocacy specifically for Minnesotans with disabilities who are Social Security beneficiaries (SSI and/or SSDI) and who need legal assistance to overcome barriers to obtaining or regaining employment.
