About Us

The Minnesota Work Incentives Connection is a nonprofit agency serving people with all types of disabilities throughout Minnesota.

Our mission is to provide answers about the impact of work on benefits, so that people with disabilities can see their choices and take advantage of life's opportunities.  This includes promoting policy changes that encourage the employment of people with disabilities.

Funding:

We receive funding from a variety of sources, including the Social Security Administration (SSA), the Minnesota Department of Employment & Economic Development (DEED), the Pathways to Employment project and HIV/AIDS program of the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), private foundations, businesses and generous individuals.

Evaluation Report

The Minnesota Work Incentives Connection conducts extensive research to see if receiving work incentives planning and assistance services helps people with disabilities to work more and reduce their dependence on benefits.  The Connection's Annual Evaluation Report  includes program statistics, outcome data and satisfaction survey results.
